On the 27th of February 2009 TGM Abel & Berger International
Ukraine presented its 4th TGM Automotive Get-together for Executives at Hotel
Rus in Kiev. The purpose of this event which was attended by leading
representatives of automotive distributors and dealerships, was to discuss and
exchange new ideas which will benefit the future development of the dealer
networks and individual dealers. The presentations consisted on a variety of
topics designed to detect symptoms of crises within a dealership, to increase awareness
for the need to improve the quality of services offered to automotive
customers.
The Direct Reception System was identified as a leading
aftersales process which leads to increased profit opportunity through greater
sales of workshop hours and parts & accessories, increased customer “trust”
in the dealership which in turn leads to higher customer satisfaction and the additional
effect of well trained employees who provide quality service will also lead to increased
customer retention.
TGM Abel & Berger International Ukraine and CC –Car Consult,
Germany has also introduced their plan to cooperate in the Ukraine to introduce
an Internet based Dealer Information Database (D.I.D.) designed as an
all-in-one online tool for the Administration and Management of automotive Dealer
Networks. The D.I.D. online solution enables executives and managers to get
dealer information at a glance, to have the most up-to-date knowledge about
what is going on in the dealer network and provides a most important basis of
the automotive distributors work. The D.I.D. database retains all network
information such as dealer standards, financial information, sales performance,
after-sales and other departmental information, all of which needs to be held
in a central and well maintained database. D.I.D. also interfaces with many of
the leading DMS systems being used around the world today.
A second online tool of the cooperation between TGM and CC-Car
Consult is called H.O.T.A.S was also presented. H.O.T.A.S is an innovative
Internet Parts Market Place, designed to optimise the efficiency and
transparency of dealer parts departments providing a trade platform for
original parts and serves as mediator between dealers offering parts and
dealers looking for parts in an internet market place. H.O.T.A.S is already
being used by more than 3000 dealers in Western Europe and provides another
sales channel to dealers to sell more Parts and to move old and redundant parts
stocks. H.O.T.A.S. allows dealers to
optimize the parts business using its online application and serves to reduce
costs as well as to enhance parts and accessory service to customers.
These new internet based IT programs are now available in
Ukraine for the first time and are designed to make the management of the
dealer network and individual dealerships easier and to enhance performance.
Both the D.I.D. and H.O.T.A.S. management tools will lead to increase profit
